US police find 'major drug tunnel' under Mexico border

The US police have recently found a huge tunnel that was used to smuggle drugs from Mexico to San Diego and other parts of America and Mexico. The tunnel was connected to 2 warehouses in Tijuana, Mexico, and San Diego's Otay Mesa area, in California. They believe that at least 14 tons of marijuana were transported because of this tunnel. Un-medical marijuana is a illegal in all states of America and only 16 states actually have legal medical marijuana. After they discovered this tunnel they hope that they will be able to find any other tunnels if any are to be created.

Government Respond

US Government: The US believes that the best way to resolve this problem would be to blow up the tunnel but this is just the first step, they would need to find and stop all smugglers and drug dealers but this is pretty much impossible. So their best bet would be to often look under ground for any new tunnels or passages and then find the smugglers that made them and arrest them to prevent further tunnels.

Mexican Government: The mexican government mostly agrees with the US because they think these ideas are to small they want to go bigger and stop the production of all drugs. This means that they would have to stop making factories unless they are sure that it is for legal use, they need to stop making the marijuana seeds and also stop any use of medical marijuana in small hospitals and only use it in big certified hospitals.
